Hi everyone! I got a 6 week old cockatiel a few days ago. He is unfortunately still unweaned (The breeder told me he was weaned but he still begs for food. I tried to give him back to the owner so he can be fully weaned but the owner refused.) But he's making progress. Recently he's been rejecting formula so I introduced him to Cheerios and he seems to really like them 🙂 he's an absolute sweety even if he can be feisty at times 😉 if you have any tips or questions feel free to let me know!

Hello and welcome to the forum. We had a similar situation with our newest flock member about four weeks ago now. Buzz is our new white face baby. Sex is still unknown but we are thinking male. We were lucky, the day we brought him home he ate well but made that terrible screeching noise (begging) for weeks!! We have five other tiels besides the new one.
