Hi everyone, my new baby will be coming home in a few weeks. The breeder has told me he's a boy. I've chosen Pilot for his name if he is indeed a boy. What do you all think? I thought he said he's a cinnamon pearl pied, does that seem correct as well?

Thank you so much! I think he's beautiful too! I'm so anxious for him to come home. I've probably spent too much buying him things for his new home!

Oh trust me, you can never buy a bird TOO many toys! LOL! I have 12 cockatiels and 2 sun conures! Just remember, you don't have to put ALL the new toys in the cage at once. You want to be careful and not crowed him too much plus on average, new toys last about a week and a half before there shredded! BTW, that IS a beautiful bird!

Oh trust me, I know about the toy issues (wanting to buy them all that is!) I’m an experienced bird Mom. I grew up with Amazon’s and own one myself! LOL. Thanks for replying

if it is a girl then there will be stripes on the back side of the tail fathers you can also get a DNA test to make Shure it is a boy/

Does he/she need to be past the first molt to judge that way? He’s just a baby. Only 8 weeks.
