Hello All,
I joined to ask a question about a new behavior my cockatiel is displaying. After 22 years he found what I assume he thinks is an egg (it's actually the bolt cover for the toilet seat) and he's been nesting with it for long periods of time when he can sneak away to it. I let my birds (have two cockatiels, both male) roam fairly free around the house and it's just a new hobby for him to do this. I realize I could close the door/remove the bolt but I was more curious if this was something I should just let him enjoy or if its indeed an issue and needs to be stopped. I've attached a picture of Xena and the "egg" below. Thank you in advance for any advice.
