I've been buying some toy parts from Walmart and dollar stores.
Here is what I came up with:

Popsicle sticks going through a waffle ball thingy. With beads and shredders hanging from it.

For shredding fun

Bob's fav :)

Willy's fav :) I hid some millet in them

I LOVE HOW THIS TURNED OUT :D! I made my dad cut open a
coconut and scrape the inside and drill holes in them hehe. I'm using
it for some foraging fun and to hold foot toys. I hid some
treats in it as well.

Their new swinging seagrass play mat thingy :D! I saw a similar
one on dr foster and smith site and i decided to make it myself.
I already had the seagrass mat, bought some plastic chain on
ebay, attached some toys to it...and tadaaaa

This is a ladder that my dad and I built. My dad bought the wooden
dowels from home depot. He cut and put it together. Its about
4 feet long. It attaches to the cage and goes to the floor. I
wrapped some rope around the whole thing and added some
toys here and there

That's it. It took a long time to make all these but it was so worth it.
What do you guys think?:thumbu:

Those toys are inspiring. How did you attach the horizontal dowels to the vertical dowels for the ladder?

Thank you everyone for the nice words! :)

My dad built the ladder so I think he drilled the horizontal
parts into the vertical dowels with stainless steel drills or
whatever they are called lol. I'm not too great at that kind of stuff.

The coconut toy is approved by my little Lisa :excited:

those look fantastic. I just spend $50 on toys for my birds yesterday. Maybe I should consider making some!
