Hey everyone, so recently I’ve been offered a little bub that’s a Lutino Pearl. I asked about the parents and have been told that mum is a Lutino Cinnamon Pearl while dad is a white face Lutino split to pearl. I know under no circumstances should Lutinos be paired with Lutinos so hearing this has made me very hesitant to accept but I really don’t know a lot about the genetics and breeding side of things. Can anyone tell me if this combination is just a disaster waiting to happen? I never thought I’d get a Lutino tiel as the associated health problems honestly frighten me a little but I am in a position to be able to care for it either way. Does anyone know more about this?
