I just noticed Luna has been perching on one leg with her right foot tucked up. she's been climbing around her cage with both feet but i'm worried she may have injured her leg/foot.

what could be causing this? (sprain?broken foot?) I'm freaking out right now. she's my best friend. Do I need to try and track down a vet? what signs should I look for when it comes to seriousness. she's never been to a vet...

She's not acting weird or immobile and I'm letting her be for now. Should I let her out and inspect the foot?

Any help would be great.

Is she just holding the foot up while perching and moving around normal right now otherwise?

yes just when she's on her perch and she's stopped now... Possibly me freaking out for no reason... Is that a normal behavior otherwise?

Yup it's okay, you can take a breath. Sometimes when theyre relaxed or sleeping, they'll tuck one foot up next to their body. I think it might be a warmth thing, or just something that feels natural to them, but either way, it's totally a normal bird behavior don't worry!
