Losing blood feathers
Hey yall,
My 6 month old cockatiel is in the middle of her first molt and I've noticed she has lost 3 new wing blood feathers. They've falled out when flying. None of them have come out damaged, almost looks like a clean pull.
She is on a pelleted diet with some seeds, veggies daily and grains every few days. She uses her cuttle bone and mineral block. Anyone have an idea as to why she could be losing these blood feathers as she's offered a balanced diet?
