So I have had Buddy for a little over a month now. We are getting along great. He comes to me, gives me an occasional kiss when asked, has become used to my hands(which he wasn't hand tame at all) anyway.

He was in a busier location in the kitchen/living room area and seemed happy, however, I decided to move his cage to a less busy area in the living room (so he could look out the window) and he seems quiter. Is this a good thing. He seems more mellow and all in all content.

I am curious if anyone has any opinion on this.

Could he be happier here?

How do I tell?

My tiels are by the patio door and enjoy watching all the drama in the backyard with the wild birds. Both grind their beaks and fluff themselves up and they both sing their hearts out. From what I can tell they are very happy there.

My JoJo was by a window and he loved it. If yours seems content there, I think the window is a good idea. Lots to watch outside!

He's absolutely content and I'm gonna leave him there to watch everything and enjoy life!
