Hi guys !!! Omg this is so exciting I didn’t know there was a whole forum just for cockatiels !! My name is Olivia. I have two teils one boy named Chicken and a girl named Bean. I rescued them not too long ago maybe 6 or 7 months now. Anyways we’re learning about eachother still, being very patient with them but have seen SO MUCH improvement.
my babies love to be out of their cage. I read recently that you can leave them out of their cage overnight while you sleep ? Is this okay for real? Cause I really do hate having to usher them back in and Bean is a real tricky one to convince. So I’d love to leave them out ! But only if it’s safe. They haven’t had night frights as far as I know and when I’m not in the room they don’t fly around. So I think it could be okay? What do you think?
I think you can, although I did not let mine sleeping outside of cage. I do let my Cockatoo sleeping outside of his cage all time, he is a fussy boy, don't like being caged.
