I've had babies hatch before and they came out normal. But one of my other tiels is a first time mommy and one of her babies looks different and I wanted to see if anyone knows if the baby is albino or if he's blind. Please any information will help. Thanks

What are the parents' mutations?

The baby has white fluff and looks like red eyes, so you may have a whiteface lutino (albino) there! :)

Well, it looks to me that the male has some white on the edges of his face, which can be an indicator of split to whiteface. Also, males can be split to lutino without any visual signs and a female chick would only need to get that one mutated chromosome from her father in order to be visible for lutino. With these combined factors, it is definitely possible that you've got a whiteface lutino there.
