I can't find a picture to match Star, to save my life, her colors are not like any pearl i've seen ( i know they come in differnt types but surely there'd be a couple out there that looked similar to her) and the Yellow spot on the back of her head - does that mean she is split to pied or something?, I know if normal's have a white spot on the back of thier head it's meant they're split to pied, Does this go for all cockatiels? and is it only meant they're split to pied or is white spots - split to pied , yellow spots split to something else?

along with the yellowish face is confusing me too

here's a couple pictures of her, the best i could get she didn't want her picture taken at all

i think it is a light pearling...
and a light pied... (not split)
what a pretty bird though!

she has a heavy pearl patch on the wings, but to really be concidered a heavy pearl, she would have to have that same amount of pearling across her back as well ;)

like my w/f cinnamon pearl Cinnamaroll

oops yes! I meant light... not heavy!

A light pied has hardly any patches... like her and my male Memphis (most think he's a normal grey split pied, but has 3 patches on his body) ;)

ps- heavy or light for pearls does not neccessarily amount to the percent or amount of pearling per say on theur wings. That just meens they have hardly any patches... ANYWHERE on their body. Just like saying 'light' to a normal grey pied (to Memphis) or 'medium' about my Maya (who's half patched half grey/marked (which could be where the pearling would be if she was a pearl)...
