Hi ya'll

So my bird looks really small, is this normal or am I just being paranoid? Also do they grow? She's about 12 weeks old now.

I still love her; we've bonded pretty quickly and she's warming up to the house and knows that nothing is going to jump out (Lol); I just want to know if this will cause any issues.

I got her from a breeder who's been breeding for about 14 years so I'm confident he knew what he was doing.

Attached is pictures. Please help!

Thanks,

She is still a baby... she probably will grow a bit bigger. :)
Also, cockatiels vary in size. My own birds are a smaller breed. My birds are 5 years old and both weigh about 80 gr. The vet says they are in a good shape and if they were any heavier they'd be considered overweight.

She's normal. Tiels aren't supposed to be big. In the wild they're on average about 70-80g. Breeders have bred bigger, heavier tiels, thinking that was what people wanted, but that's not the "standard" size for tiels. You really want to go by weight, not anything else and see if you can feel her keel.
