Hi everyone. I have a two and a half year old male cockatiel. He was raised by hand when I bought him. He is active but he ALWAYS want to be on me or close to me all the time. I need to put him in his cage when I am eating because he always try to climb on legs to be with me.

Is it a normal behavior? Is there something I should do?

What a very beautiful boy. Yes he loves you and yes, as all tame tiels do, they want to be around you as much as possible, but they do like their personal time. Take it as a compliment that you are doing something right.
By all means return him to his cage when you are eating as they do and will come to your mouth to try to eat your food just as they were fed by parents. Not a good thing for them or you.
