or at least to me it is

Since I've been wondering if there really is such a thing as a Lutino Pied and never could find pictures (still no pic) but there is such a thing as a Lutino pied after all

It is possible to get lutino pied, lutino pearl-pied and lutino pearl cockatiels. With these birds the areas that would have had grey feathers will instead have a deeper yellow color. Male lutino pearls will loose the pearling when they mature from 6 months old.
got from this website

http://www.mooloolabapets.com.au/html/body_cockatiel_mutations.html

and this from the same website

PIED
Pied Cockatiel

The pied mutation is extremely variable in the amount of grey versus yellow on the bird. A cockatiel that has more grey than yellow is termed a dominant pied.

A cockatiel that has more yellow than grey is termed a reverse pied. In its extreme form, a reverse pied may have no grey feathers at all, being distinguished from a lutino only by a dark toe-nail or having a black eye rather than a red eye.

Pied cockatiels are unique among the cockatiels as it is very difficult or impossible to tell the sex of them visually. Both male and female can look identical. Observing the behaviour of pied cockatiels is the best clue that you will get to their sex.

I'll prob. be adding more to this as i find things that intrigue me - trying to learn more about mutations - So i make sure I'm calling ALL my birds by their correct mutation lol

Ive seen the lutino pearls but I've not yet seen a picture of a Lutino Pied or even a Lutino Pearl pied

But I haven't given my search up yet - Speically since this is the weekend, and I got a new puppy So i'll be up pretty much all night (first night with just me as the adult bieng home since I got my puppy) so i will be in the living room all night so i can hear her if she has to go out (my b/f sleeps in the living room so he takes her out when she whines at night because I can't hear her in my room)

so i'll have all night to hopefully find one lol

I read your bit on what a Lutino pied would look like and I was surprised. For some reason I would have thought the variegations would be white. I makes sense tho that they would be darker yellow. Sounds neat!...I'm showing my age again!

It appears that Lutino Pearl varys widely in depth of color!

I can see it more on the 1st one, If i'm understanding what they're saying about the color differences, it looks to be a different shade of yellow then what normally a lutino has, I've had 3 lutino's my baby is looks white not yellow, the 2 older ones i had was a very very light yellow

the 1st pic on the belly/chest area is a deep "golden" shade of yellow

if that makes sense
