Yesterday I opened the cage to see if Tiki would come out... Nope, he did sit in the door opening tho, but when I went see if he would step up he went back in... Left the door open about an hour...

Today I decided I would try someones suggestion that I work thro the small door with a perch... he wasn't to keen on the idea, tried to bit the perch... but he finally did step up for me about 3 times, and I moved the perch around in the cage... praised him royally....

I am begining to think tho he was hand fed and is relatively tame, he really wasn't handled all that much... when there are 70 plus birds of various breeds at the breeders how could you handle all the birds...

Anyway, I feel good about the little step forward....

I think it sounds like you're doing great with Tiki! :D After all, even if he was hand fed, he's older now and has been in with lots of birds. It doesn't take long for them to change back to being a bird bird no matter how they were raised.
