Around a month ago my bird Kasey got diagnosed with a sinus infection and we’ve been treating it since but the last couple days he has been excessively grooming his vent area and straining to poop even tiny poops. I have a photo of his vent area so TW graphic

We don’t have enough money to keep taking him to the vet and i’m really worried about him. my last bird q-tip died very quickly from egg bound and we had no idea. Does this look serious? It looks very very serious but the internet doesn’t give very good content clues on what’s wrong

I would take him to the vet - his condition is abnormal. Birds can develop secondary infections such as fungal or something else and he might not be eating/drinking enough (and could be faking it). When you see signs like that you need to act quickly with vet care. Hope it goes ok.
