Another Question?? Told you about our exciting day yesterday and Tiki taking a nap... today he was out a couple of times, climbed all over his cage, on the play station, on the floor... ate from my hand, rode the perch when I had to rescue him a couple of times and when I asked him to step up.... and he took two very long naps... I mean a real deep sleep nap, with his head tucked in his wing... Is this normal??? and he went to bed early??? Or is he just finally relaxing and worn out from doing so much exploring?? Until Yesterday I hadn't seen him take
naps like that...since I got him a little over 2 wks ago he has always been alert all day until he decided it was bedtime. Hope he isn't sick??

And I find myself tiptoeing around so I don't disturb him... just like he were a human baby or something!!!!!

Well, I would say that you have one contented little tiel there. The way I interpret that is that he now feels so safe that he can nap during the day and really nap, a full on head under the wing, I'm not going to be attacked, type nap!!! LOL. One thing I will say though, is I never try and keep quiet around them, I just carry on as normal because knowing my luck, it will be all quiet and I'll drop a saucepan lid or something!! Don't forget, he hasn't really done much since you had him and now with all the exploring that he's been doing, he is tiring himself out more. You have one happy little man there.

Thanks, I figured thats what it was... I worry to much... I really don't intend to be quiet, it just kind of happens... LOL

That's a good relaxed sleeping position, i rarely catch my tiels doing that during the day.
