Daisy and Louis have 2 eggs right now that are fertile. Everything has been going great until this morning. I gave them each a spray bottle bath and since then Louis has taken over the nest and refuses to let Daisy on the eggs. He is laying on them so they are ok but he chases and nips at Daisy whenever she gets close to the nest. I don't know what to do and I feel terrible because this seems to be directly related to their spray bath. Daisy is really upset. Has anyone gone through this? I rescued them 2 months ago. This is their first successful mating since I've had them. I'm unsure if they have raised a brood in the past. Thank you!

It's part of the male's job to help incubate the eggs, so don't worry about it unless they're fighting so hard that someone is likely to get hurt or the eggs are likely to get broken. He should let her back on when he's ready. With most pairs, the male does most of the sitting in the daytime and the hen sits at night. If he doesn't let her back in, you can remove him from the cage when he comes out to get food and take a poop break, and let her get her turn that way. Put him back in when you think it's his turn again.
