Howdy, had my bird for 12 years now, coming up to 13 years. He’s been relatively healthy and behaved normally for most of that time. Recently I noticed some odd looking scales on the left side of his head (see photos). This has not happened before. I don’t know if this is a process related to moulting, but I haven’t been able to find much information about what it could be. Not a cockatiel expert so I have no idea what it could be, please help if you can. Thank you!
