Hi there, My baby cockatiels are 6 and 4 days old, Parents are feeding them but Mother has started laying eggs again and I think she has started Plucking the babies
What do I do?

Also the little baby has a bit of poop stuck on its bottom, do I leave it or clean it somehow?
I'm going to put some fresh material in today as it's getting quite messy in the there

Any help appreciated :)

Thank u

I am not a real experienced breeder however I have raised a couple of clutches and this is my opinion... If mom is laying again and plucking the chicks, I would pull them and hand raise them. If baby has dried poop on it I would take it out and while keeping it warm I would place a warm wet rag against the poopy spot and let it soften the poop, every few minutes wipe off what softens up, be very gentle as you don't want to rip the skin... One of my babies bottoms would get plugged up by poop every day or so and this worked for him... I had to check him a couple of times a day.
