This is the first time one of my eggs has hatched so I don’t know what to look for but came home and noticed my baby was huge! Is this normal? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How much grams does S\He weigh, also what age is she currently?

5 days old and I am unsure about weight. I don’t have a scale.
3-6 days should be around 5-12 grams, if you don't have a scale, it would be really hard to tell... I'm no baby-bird expert though.

This is my first egg to ever hatch so I am not either. But everything I am finding on google my baby is healthy and this is normal. I found after posting thi. I am also friends with a bird rehabber. And she said it’s normal for the baby to look like this. I just ordered a scale too to keep track. Thank you for your response.

That's a nice full crop. Mom and Dad are doing a good job feeding this little chick! 🥰
