My name is Donna and am new to talk cockatiels. My cockatiel died a few days ago from respiratory problems and I couldn't even get a vet to c her they kept passing the buck to different vets all were 3 hrs away

I am SO sorry to hear you lost your bird! Sadly, I've lost two myself to the exact same thing! Once a cockatiel gets respitory issue, there's really little if anything a vet can do for one. I remember a female we had and our vet even kept her in a breathing chamber overnight and she still didn't make it. Again, sorry for your loss.
