Good news and a question

Ok, so I've had Ziggy for just under 2mths and he is FINNALLY growing in two of his new tail feathers!!! The two side ones are coming in fast- they are yellow with black spots but not patterned like Baby's. I kept trying to take a pic but he was giving me a hard time so I gave up. I can't wait until he has a long pretty tail like Baby. He's also shedded almost all the old ruffled looking ones I guess to make room for the new ones!!!:) I feel funny with him when we go out- people always ask me what happened...I have to go over the whole story so they don't think I did that to him...it's embarassing...

ANYWAY!
Ok. Now the question...for those of you with boys do you find that they "poop" really funny...? Not the poop itself but how. Ziggy backs up a few steps, shakes his tail and then does it..nothing like Baby..he looks really funny doing it...

I don't think it's a boy specific thing, but some birds do the squat and wriggle poops. :p Bailee and Cookie both do that from time to time.
I don't think its a boy specific thing either both Ollie and Georgie do that as well, Minnie I haven't really noticed yet I will have to check that out...hehe
Hmmm...it's really funny. I should video him and show you..lol
Spike squats down. Silly bird :p He is very good about not going well on my shoulder which is great ;)

Same here! I love it. He just doesn't like to go on me so he climbs off. Baby is potty trained so she doesn't go on me unless I forget to watch her.
Yep, Dooby does that moon walking and fluffing up his feathers thing as well before he poops!

It's great what they can learn :p I will take Spike of my shoulder hold him over a paper towel and say go potty and he usually does. What good birds we have ;)
That's how Billy my quaker poops - and he only poops in side his cage when he's sleeping

if he's awake he will walk out of the cage, go to the end of his door and lean over, squat and poop and then wiggle his butt and tail feathers
Earl is toilet trained he flies off people then on his cage and squats then "poops". But he will never poo on people but will on the floor or anywhere else. LOL!:)
