Very interested in these two pretty babies!

The WF pearl is Archie's niece (or nephew, but I have a feeling she's a little hen!) and the cinnamon is a DNA tested hen. How cute are they?!?

We will have to see which one wants to come live with me, but I'd be happy to take either one. I wish the WF wasn't related to Archie though - just in case down the track Archie falls in love with her... Yuck.

I wonder what Sadie and Archie's reaction will be when they get to meet their new friend. I think Archie is more receptive towards birds, and Sadie is a feathered-human.

Oh they are both stunning what a choice! The pearl WF is so pretty and the cinnamon almost looks like a platinum with the lighter cinnamon, so gorgeous! Let us know!

Picking my new little cinnamon up on either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on our scheduling! She's very shy, but when I held her she seemed to just snuggle me. The WF pearl was gorgeous, too. But I think my new friend had already made her decision (she was first to meet me)

All the animals there are gorgeous! She's hand raised some rainbow lorikeets and princess parrots and they were all licking my fingers through the cages haha. I was serenaded by quite a few handsome little tiels, too. Even "Nippy" took a liking to me, LOL. You guys would have loved all the mutations she has - silvers, albinos, cinnamon WF. Plus everything else you could think of. All so striking!


I have a few names I'm tossing around. I originally loved the name Maisie, but I think Sadie, Archie and Maisie is a bit of a mouthful, LOL.

Leaning towards Maggie or Penelope at the moment, but we'll see! She might turn out to be a completely different name.

My fiance said to me this morning as I was half-asleep: I know what's going to happen. You're going to get this bird. And then another. And an aviary. And then more birds.


He's less than enthusiastic about me adding to the flock because Sadie is his Velcro bird and sometimes he just wants to "chill out" without her (yeah, I don't understand that either! ) and I told him that our new girl is probably going to love him as much as Sadie does.

Archie, on the other hand haaaaaaates everyone besides me. If anyone else goes near him, he will hiss at them and then strangely sing them a pretty song and do heart wings. My fiance is no exception to this, and he takes it personally and calls my little boy a "rodent" because he's been nipped on the finger a few times haha.

Oh and what was my answer with the more birds and eventually an aviary? I pretended I was asleep so I didn't have to say no and eventually go back on my word. Hahahaha.
