Hi, i have decided I am going to get a bird, more specifically a cockatiel. I have done research as much as I can. I have read that asthmatics might be experiencing problems with cockatiels because of some dust they accumulate. I have only found one source for this and I am wondering if it is true, can I get a pair of cockatiels even tho I have asthma?

And another question, is it best to get two birds straight away, or to start with one of them to establish a bond before introducing the other one?

Thanks
