Guys please help me out with this one.
I don't know the colour type and the gender of this cockatiel of mine.
Please let me know if any one can identify it by visual inspection.
Thanks in advance.

This is a pearl cockatiel. Gender identification depends on the bird's age. If it's an adult bird, she's definitely female. If it's a young bird, you'll find out by the time it's a year old. Pearl males lose their adult markings at maturity and look like a normal grey, but pearl females keep their markings for life.

The majority of pearl cockatiels are female. Pearl is a sex-linked mutation with complicated inheritance rules, and it's easier to get pearl females than it is to get pearl males.
