This is a pearl cockatiel. Gender identification depends on the bird's age. If it's an adult bird, she's definitely female. If it's a young bird, you'll find out by the time it's a year old. Pearl males lose their adult markings at maturity and look like a normal grey, but pearl females keep their markings for life.

The majority of pearl cockatiels are female. Pearl is a sex-linked mutation with complicated inheritance rules, and it's easier to get pearl females than it is to get pearl males.

He/she is gorgeous I'm sure tielfan is much more knowledgeable than me and as tielfan said looks pearl ive read the same with that mutation males usually lose the pealing with molting good luck with your feather baby
