We found a grey/white/yellow head cockatiel with a band around it's
leg at Whitin Pond by the Water Falls this evening.

We brought it to Tufts in Grafton and they examined it, and said the
bird was in good shape, healthy, etc.

We took the bird home, and are planning to call some vet's in
Uxbridge MA tomorrow, as well as Mendon Zoo or local Shelters that
might take him. We never had birds so aren't sure what to do. Tufts
did give us some food for him, and we have water for him too.

If anyone lost him, please let us know.
Thank you.

Just heard from the finder this morning. Apparently the person who
lost this tiel had two tiels outside on Sunday, the warm day here in
their cage. They both escaped. One, sadly saw his fate with a crow
(big black bird). The other one was this little guy. So a somewhat
happy ending. Pam
