We are waiting on a cinnamon white faced female that I have been emailing a girl back and forth about. She said that she is not feathering out normally. What does that mean. She said she had it with another tiel that was grooming it a lot. She also said she wouldn't sell it if there was something wrong with it. I just wanted to know what that means because I will be heart broken if it is serious. Thanks for the info.

some tiels will pluck others but seems you have a good breeder there if she won,t sell it if there is anything wrong most times the feathers will grow back but sometimes not often they don,t it just takes longer for them to grow back and at times it takes till they go through a molt before they grow back

Allen and Flappy are right. Sounds like a plucking situation. There is nothing wrong with a bird who has been plucked but it should be removed from the one doing the plucking. It might be better off at your house. How old is it now?
