hi, so i noticed frankie has a new feather coming but its stuck out of the wing? he’s been preening or pulling on it, but i can’t get a closer look since he doesn’t let me touch his wings. any ideas what to do? he is behaving as normal, and doesn’t seem to be in any pain

edit: when i went to uncover the cage this morning i couldn’t see the feather sticking out at all he looked like normal till he did some big stretches now it’s visible again

This is quite normal among cockatiels. Halo, my lutino, had a feather poking out of his wing not long ago as well. It will eventually go away, but I’d recommend you keep an eye on yours.
