I have had this cockatiel for about 5 years and ever since I can remember he has had a feather plucking problem. I searched up everything on how to fix it and causes but nothing seems to work. He is a male and spends most of his time with me and likes to sit on my shoulder. He used to have a mate who recently flew away but I don’t think that is the problem because he used to pluck himself and his mate(which I tried to prevent and successfully did). I do not believe he is bored as he is with me most of the time. I feed him all sorts of food such as seeds, vegetables, fruits and bread sometimes so I also don't think it is improper diet. I am pretty sure it is not a disease as he has been doing it for five years and I think after five years a disease would be more noticeable. Anyone have any ideas on what could be the issue or what I can do to solve this problem
