Just after some advice I noticed this crack appear yesterday at about 3:30pm since then there has been no activity egg is about 19 days in parents are first timers and abandoned them but they are fertile any advice on what’s going on or how long it’ll take the baby to hatch would be great I’ve got plenty of experience in hand feeding have successfully raised a baby from a day old

When my eggs first started pipping it took about 24 hours and there was one was nearly 48 hours

May I ask if the eggs are in a incubater because the last 3 days is called shut down, you cant touch egg and the temperature and humidity must be at a certain percentage, all the air vents are supposed to be closed and humidity must be very high like up to 65 to 70 but some say 85. And temperatures
is reduced to 35.5°C-36°C, When the hatching has been completed, the relative humidity decreases sharply to 40% by increasing ventilation (which favors chick drying).

What I observed was that the eggs that was with the parents hatched faster because the parents actually helped with the pipping to get him out. The egg that was in incubater took about 48 hours to hatch by it self. Longer then the others
