Since we have had Tunes he has not eaten anything from our hand, he runs from it. Otherwise he is very tame, he steps up and loves to go to anyone. We really wanted to be able to give him treats from our hand.

Well I found something he must really love cuz he eats it from our hand! It is a yogurt covered sunflower seed (I think it is blueberry flavored yogurt)!!! The package says that cockatiels should only have 2 pieces a day though, so they are a very special treat.

Sounds like Tunes is settling in nicely and your making good progress its hard for them to resist then they find something they really enjoy.
