Lulu's down feathers are falling out. There everywhere. Is this normal?

how old is she??? i would say its normal...little mikey is 4 months old and his get everywhere.....he is just becoming a big birdie....im sure its the same case for lulu...she just doesn't need them anymore

If she is coming up to six months old, then this could be the start of the first big moult.....I've got two going through it at the moment, Dooby at one year old and a first big moult on Daisy. I swear if I stuck all their feathers on my arms I could fly!!!

lmao i hear ya plukie....my budgies are going through it too so there are multicoloured feathers all throughout the house!! not to mention the 20 little mikey leaves on me every time he is out

I have an 10-week-old male who constantly flings little down feathers around, and I've been told that's perfectly normal.

Ahh they must be all going through it at the moment!

As it's been said, probably normal, and he/she's just going through one of their lovely moults. I have one moulting at the moment, so I can't imagine what it'd be like if two of them were moulting, so I guess I'll think myself lucky FOR NOW.

jojo does that keeps pulling them out, i got himma pasafier to try and stop him plucking himself to baldness, but he hates it soo i get a few feathers might be anothe reason jojo is a bit crabby as well,
