When Spike was having a shower I noticed that he has a cut on his lower beak. It looks like scratch with a bit of a bloody scab in the middle of it. When he puffs up his beak feathers you can't see it anymore. I had to spend another night at my Brothers house and my Mom said he did not have a night fright that she knows of. So I think he may of rubbed his beak too hard on his sandy perch. I did not notice any blood at all in the bottom of his cage. So silly bird has hurt himself again  I guess I will just keep an eye on it, when he does not puff his face feathers up.

How is he doing?

Several years ago Pro had a mark on his beak, no blood though, and it healed over quickly with no problems. He's bloodied his feet a couple times too, once he bled alot and I still don't know how he did it, wish I had known about the flour thing back then. They really are accident prone.
