Hello. I hope you have not made any firm decisions as of yet. I am a cockatiel owner. I had my 1st baby Patches for 24 1/2 years and now have Gabriel who is just 2 and I've had him since January 2021 in terms of getting him home. I was having some challenges when I brought Gabriel home and thought I might need to bring him back. A friend told me about a free lecture through Phoenix Landing which is in North Carolina. Obviously it was on Zoom. Behaviorist Debbie Foster was the speaker and again this lecture was free. I learned so much from that lecture. I also then scheduled a session with Debbie Foster. Her cost is amazingly low and fair. Less than getting a massage. If you are interested in pursuing I know she could help you and your birdies remain as one family.
