Spike is really clumsy, he slips and falls and today a bunch of white down feathers fell out and a tail feather is lose and hanging. Will he always be this clumsy Thanks for the help
I think being clumsy is part of being a baby cockatiel. Mine both butchered their tail feathers with crash landings, etc when they were babies, but now that they're older and have grown their flight feathers they are totally fine. Cookie's got a full tail now, and Bailee is growing his.
Thanks my Mom keeps saying Iam going to kill him He will jump/fall and sweak like a little mouse. He never really watches where he is going Iam really glad to hear he will grow out of it.
He will. mine were bad for landing on each other lol. They have grown out of it. hugs had a tail feather pointing outwards. one day while preening i looked at it and it was bent so i bent it back in. Good as new.
