I have two cockatiels i am currently trying give them the best care i can. however, my mum says we cant have a vet because they are to expensive for her. so i try to raise them the best i can, and one, Sunny, survived a head injury that looked pretty severe without a medication (it looked like the skin was torn fron the top of her head, thought i could see her skull). so anyways, i need some advice.

i will. as i am typing this, they are eating their food ( a mixture of seeds, dried carrots, wheatgrass and some pellets.

Sounds like your keeping their lives as happy and healthy as can be!
I wouldn't worry too much as long as you cover as much of their basic needs ))
