Dear All,

I have a 2 years old bonded pair of Cockatiels, having the right nutrition, the right setup, strong wooden perches etc ....
one month ago they started mating twice per day for around 7 continuous days. 10 days later the hen started laying her eggs, and completed a clutch of 5 eggs. I did not candle the eggs and waited for 21 days, then at the 21st day i realized that the pair abandoned their eggs and started mating again. I checked the eggs, and found that all 5 were infertile.

What would be the reason ?, will they succeed the next time ? should i clip the vent feathers of the pair ? could the male be infertile ?

Kindly advise
