Hello,

I live in a town called Tsawwassen in British Columbia and we're a family of four. A few months ago we decided to get two rescue birds instead of a traditional family pet so we got a pair of bonded cockatiels from Grey Haven Sanctuary for exotic birds.

One of the tiels is very friendly and likes to be stroked but the other is shy. They both insist on being next to one another 24/7. If they get out of eyesight or earshot they both scream for one another, which is quite cute and annoying.

This is the shy boy named Max, but we call him Turkey because he's a real turkey sometimes.

He's on his cage, which is not a traditional tiel cage but they love their cage and are not unhappy about the fact it's round and not square.

This is who we believe is the girl (based on nesting behaviour) Lilly.

She has a shoebox in the cage which she enjoys nesting in. She does not produce eggs.

That's it for now. Hope you like the pics!
