Some 'tiel poetry I composed. :p

"An Ode to the Whiteface Cockatiel"
Beautiful white covers their faces,
And crowns their wings like elegant laces,
They are charcoal wisps in the sky,
Feathered stormclouds as they fly.
Noble crests above the eyes,
Warning of danger doeth it rise.
Created by one, loved by all,
Capturing hearts with their mournful call.

Very pretty poem! I especially like the "feathered stormclouds as they fly" phrase...it presents such a neat metaphor. Thanks for sharing it :)

Love it! And it's been mentioned already, but worth the second hat-tip - Love how you worded the line 'Feathered Stormclouds as they fly' and 'Charcoal Wisps in the sky' Vivid imagery right there!

Awesome! I remember writing a poem about my two budgies I used to have a couple of years ago. I think I still have it somewhere.
