Always put them back in their cage, their safe haven, at night and cover when it is getting dark, not in your room or on your fan?!?. As you mention bunk bed, I'm wondering if you might perhaps be too young to understand the requirements of a cockatiel.Yes! I let him out everyday for a couple of hours, or sometimes I let him out for more than 24 hours (he just sleeps right beside me on my small fan I have hooked on my bunk bed) but that’s good to know, I was just so confused.
I only have bunk bed because I have a small room and I don’t get what you mean by cage, “Not your room” like not put his cage in my room? If that’s what you mean, its the only choice I have. And yes eventually he gets in the cage by himself or I put him in there, also ok, and I don’t put him on my fan, he does it himself.Always put them back in their cage, their safe haven, at night and cover when it is getting dark, not in your room or on your fan?!?. Feel close to my new Cockatiel he fly's very close to me and mimicks when we are talking bless him Our Hardy is a young one, fly's out anytime as we leave cage openDo you free flight him outside cage? He is doing his version of mimicking. He loves you and is letting you know. Feel blessed and give him more close interaction. Afterall, tiels are the 3rd smartest parrots in the world.
