Hi I bought two cockatiels last week this is my first birds I’ve ever owned so I’m new to this. Today I noticed one of my cockatiels has something on its beak… anyone know what this might be? Right now they’ve only eaten a seed diet but I’m aware that I should be offering variety with more vegetables… Should I attempt to clean this? Right now he’s terrified of my hand but I’m trying to talk to him so that he’s more comfortable with me so if I were to clean his beak he might be too scared ? Help what should I do ?

Gently blow on him or hold him down to wipe it away, if it doesnt leave id suggest you talk to an experienced breeder or to a vet
