I've got my baby cockatiel for about 4 months now and she's doing well, other than still much preferring millet to pellets, seed and kale (mostly).

I was originally thinking about get a 2nd cockatiel, also a female so there wouldn't be any breeding, and possibly keeping the 2 together in the same large cage. I've done that before with 2 females and they got along fine.

But now I'm considering another breed, specifically a Caique.

Since the Caique has a reputation of being somewhat "bossy" towards other birds I'm guessing it wouldn't be advisable to keep them in the same cage but do any of you think it isn't the best idea to have these 2 particular breeds together as pets ?
