Cocatiel and budgie try to mate

Hi I just cought my female cockatiel and a female budgie try to mate I have never seen anything like this before I did not even know they could do this I know nothing can happen but it's really strange to watch this is the first time they do this. I know they are both broody has this happened to any of your birds it's this really common?

I have normal greys, whiteface, pearl pieds, creamface cinnamons, and pearls.

Not yet has anything like THAT happened but I've sure had a bumper crop of fake eggs this year!!! I think I lost count at around 17+ but then again I have 7 cockatiel hens! A Budgitiel just doesn't sound right!
