Does anyone have experience with the Honest Company? I'm looking for cleaners that I can use without fear they'll get a whiff if I clean in the next room.

Anyone have a list of bad chemicals?

Here are ingredients from three of their products.
Surface cleaner INGREDIENTS:
Purified Water, Sodium Coco Sulfate (Coconut-Based Cleanser), Caprylyl/Myristyl Glucoside (Plant-Based Cleanser), Phenoxyethanol (PH-Sensitive Preservative), Citrus Grandis Oil (N.O.P. Certified Organic Grapefruit Oil), PPG-4 Laureth/Myreth-5 (Coconut-Based Cleanser), Alcohol (Fermented From Corn Sugars), Methylisothiazolinone (Preservative)

Floor cleaner INGREDIENTS:
Water, Ethyl Alcohol (Fermented From Corn Sugar), Caprylyl/Myristyl Glucoside (Plant-Based Cleanser), Potassium Sorbate (Plant-Based Preservative), Acetic Acid (Natural Buffering Agent), Gluconic Acid (Plant-Based Buffering Agent), Citrus Grandis (N.O.P. Certified Organic Grapefruit) Oil, Limonene (Orange) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary Leaf) Oil

Bathroom cleaner INGREDIENTS:
Water, Ethyl Alcohol (Fermented From Corn Sugar), Caprylyl/Myristyl Glucoside (Plant-Based Cleanser), Sodium Gluconate (Plant-Based Water-Softener), Sodium Citrate (Plant-Based Water-Softener), Potassium Sorbate (Plant-Based Preservative), Citric Acid (Plant- Based pH Regulator), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Oil, Mentha Arvensis (Wild Mint) Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil

I've used Green Works and I just keep all the rooms nice and aerated when something is being cleaned. So far no problems.

Not sure about Honest Company but Green Works is pretty good

I've been using Seventh Generation since I moved to my studio. I get the no-scent-added versions of everything and I make sure not to spray anything directly under/around the cages. It's been fine so far.

Thanks y'all.

Most of the Honest company's products have added scents. Anybody have a list of chemicals that are specifically bad for birds?

Anything with a strong scent can be irritating to their respiratory system. It's as much about the strength of the stimulus as it is specific chemicals.

I use peppermint Dr. Bronner's for basically everything. It even comes in unscented if you're worried about the smell :)
