I've had Newbird for 6 years now, and I always thought she was just pied. But I was giving her a bath today and I noticed a brownish looking feather. Could a pied have a cinnamon colored feather? or would a cinnamon be all brown except for the 'pied parts'? Sorry, I don't have a picture, I didn't think to take one during the bath and now she's too mad about the bath to let me mess with her XD

It may just be "old" feathers that will be molted out and replaced with new, darker feathers. I know Missy looks like a little patchwork, mosaic bird when she has new and old feathers mixed in! :)

Cinnamon tiels are a light brown. Missy is sometimes mistaken for a cinnamon in certain lighting, but shes much too dark and also has very dark grey flight feathers.
