Has anyone found a solution to this? As my tiels grow their wings out they fly to the top of the window frame and chew on it. It’s particle board painted white and it seems easy to chew a lot of damage quickly. Any ideas would be most welcome. At the moment they are clipped, so in theory I could implement a solution before they get fully flighted again.

I would just put something on top of the window sill...heavy but not easily chewed. OTOH, I received a lovely oriental rug from my mother in law and I just noticed that dear Noodles has chewed a substantial amount of the wool edge of the rug. It looks like mice have been chewing on it! I folded it up for now!
