it’s not a bad change, however it’s quite interesting. my bird went from small screams to singing/chattering and lifting his wings. he paces around the cage a lot and bangs his beak on things. should i just leave him be if he’s going through some hormonal changes? it seems as if he wants to leave the cage but the only way i can get him back is wrapping him in a towel since he’s not finger trained yet.
i got him from a pet store so i was unsure of his sex at first until i noticed he started singing. i’m still unsure of the age though, but i know he’s most likely an adult since those bites can hurt.
i’m actually glad he’s starting to feel a little more comfortable at least! 💖

Yes, they seem to be a lot more interesting when they first start chattering and singing! I have a male whiteface pearl about 5 months old now sitting on my shoulder as I type this just singing away! I know just what you mean about those bites too! I have a normal grey that's a year old that can bring blood when he's really in a foul mood!
