I have a lutino female cockatiel who really wants eggs. She has had babies in the past, and she really wants more again. I have a male that I could set up with her if they like each other. She used to have liver disease, but I've treated her for it and she is much better. She used to be completely yellow, but now she is the normal yellow-white colour of a lutino. What I'm asking is: can she still breed without passing on any bad genetics to her offspring? Can cockatiels who have had liver disease ever breed again? TIA

I think that as long as you keep in touch with her vet for check ups every now and then she shouldnt have much of a problem
