Can Cockatiels Eat Beautyberry?

I have beautyberry (Callicarpa americana) growing outside my house. The wild birds love it, and so do my chickens and ducks. So I was wondering if I could put some in my cockatiel's cage for him to perch on and eat the berries. Would this be okay?

A good way to find out about the toxicity of any plant is to google its Latin name along with the word toxicity. Google reports that the berry is nontoxic but has a somewhat medicinal taste, so some humans don't like it. On the other hand, some people make jelly out of it lol. Here are a couple of links:
